ein nettes gesamtpaket wurde da in der dresdner chemo geboten. "der rest" aus hamburg bot düsteren bis treibenden post-punk und "here are the young men" brachten mit gelungenem joy division-covers die menge zu tanzen. und "menge" ist nicht übertrieben, die chemo war sehr voll. anschließend boten warholy und ich die aftershow-party. da wir die ganze zeit hand in hand bzw. nur mit 2-3 stücken im wechsel auflegten, habe ich nicht weiter gekennzeichnet, wer was aufgelegt hat. es geht ja auch nicht um uns sondern um ne gute playlist :)

abschiede zu feiern ist so eine sache. daher habe ich versucht am gestrigen abend die zeit in dresden noch einmal revue passieren zu lassen, meine neuentdeckungen und lieblingshits der letzten 2 jahre zu spielen. ich war gespannt, wie viele gäste denn den weg ins E40 finden würden und war am ende begeistert, was für eine feine party das geworden ist. musikalisch bin ich am ende dann weit davon abgekommen, was ich eigentlich wollte, aber der schaden der gäste war es wohl nicht. ich habe mal gekennzeichnet, welche stücke alles wünsche waren. ich habe mich bemüht alle zu berücksichtigen, aber es gab so viele und so unterschiedliche wünsche, dass es leider nicht möglich war - habt nachsicht!

in meiner facebook-welt tauchte gitane demone dieser tage häufig auf. viele freunde in deutschland besuchten ihre konzerte und berichteten begeistert.

 

ich war natürlich sehr erfreut, als die chemo berichtete, eine gewisse gitane demone wurde denen kurzfristig angeboten und das würden die nun "machen" - ob ich denn nicht lust hätte für musik vorher und nachher zu sorgen. klar!!!!

 

am 7. november war es denn soweit, einem montag. hm, natürlich nicht die beste voraussetzung aber gut. hey, wir sprechen hier von gitane demone. geil!

 

die spannung stieg und im nachhein bleibt zu sagen, dass die anwesenden ein sehr intensives und sehr atmospherisches clubkonzert genießen konnten. zugegeben, ihre musik taucht in meinem alltag wenig auf, was ich nun aber schnell ändern werden. ich nahm sie als gut gelaunt und sehr entspannt war.  sie begannen als quartett und  spielten auch hits wie "i lost a friend to heroin" oder den rozz williams knaller "flowers". später dann übernahm gitane selber die gitarre, der bassist und ihre ebenfalls mitmusizierende tochter wurden mit kristallen ausgestattet und - tatata - die show von the crystelles begann.  es gab dann auch zwei zugaben und als letztes gab es dann noch eine besondere version von "gloomy sunday", was mich natürlich besonders berührte (warum kann man z.B. unter partygrafie ersehen)

 

unterm strich habe ich den abend sehr genossen. die gäste die da waren, haben es anscheinend auch und das ist die hauptsache. für die chemo hätten natürlich schon ein paar mehr gäste anwesend sein können, aber so ist das leider nunmal in diesem geschäft. entsprechend kurz viel dann auch die aftershowparty aus.
